Chapter 2, Verse 149, The Cow
wamin haythu kharajta fawalli wajhaka shatra almasjidi alharami wainnahu lalhaqqu min rabbika wama allahu bighafilin aaamma taaamaloona
And from wheresoever you start forth (for prayers), turn your face in the direction of Al-masjid-al-haram (at Makkah), that is indeed the truth from your Lord. And Allah is not unaware of what you do.
Chapter 2, Verse 150, The Cow
wamin haythu kharajta fawalli wajhaka shatra almasjidi alharami wahaythu ma kuntum fawalloo wujoohakum shatrahu lialla yakoona lilnnasi aaalaykum hujjatun illa allatheena thalamoo minhum fala takhshawhum waikhshawnee waliotimma niaamatee aaalaykum walaaaallakum tahtadoona
And from wheresoever you start forth (for prayers), turn your face in the direction of Al-masjid-al-haram (at Makkah), and wheresoever you are, turn your faces towards, it (when you pray) so that men may have no argument against you except those of them that are wrong-doers, so fear them not, but fear Me! - And so that I may complete My Blessings on you and that you may be guided.
Chapter 2, Verse 191, The Cow
waoqtuloohum haythu thaqiftumoohum waakhrijoohum min haythu akhrajookum waalfitnatu ashaddu mina alqatli wala tuqatiloohum aainda almasjidi alharami hatta yuqatilookum feehi fain qatalookum faoqtuloohum kathalika jazao alkafireena
And kill them wherever you find them, and turn them out from where they have turned you out. And Al-Fitnah is worse than killing. And fight not with them at Al-masjid-al-haram (the sanctuary at Makkah), unless they (first) fight you there. But if they attack you, then kill them. Such is the recompense of the disbelievers.
Chapter 8, Verse 34, Spoils of war, booty
wama lahum alla yuaaaththibahumu allahu wahum yasuddoona aaani almasjidi alharami wama kanoo awliyaahu in awliyaohu illa almuttaqoona walakinna aktharahum la yaaalamoona
And why should not Allah punish them while they stop (men) from Al-masjid-al-haram, and they are not its guardians? None can be its guardian except Al-Muttaqun (the pious - see V. 2:2), but most of them know not.
Chapter 9, Verse 7, Repentance
kayfa yakoonu lilmushrikeena aaahdun aainda allahi waaainda rasoolihi illa allatheena aaahadtum aainda almasjidi alharami fama istaqamoo lakum faistaqeemoo lahum inna allaha yuhibbu almuttaqeena
How can there be a covenant with Allah and with His Messenger for the Mushrikun (polytheists, idolaters, pagans, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah) except those with whom you made a covenant near Al-masjid-al-haram (at Makkah)? So long, as they are true to you, stand you true to them. Verily, Allah loves Al-Muttaqun (the pious - see V. 2:2).
Chapter 9, Verse 19, Repentance
ajaaaaltum siqayata alhajji waaaimarata almasjidi alharami kaman amana biallahi waalyawmi alakhiri wajahada fee sabeeli allahi la yastawoona aainda allahi waallahu la yahdee alqawma alththalimeena
Do you consider the providing of drinking water to the pilgrims and the maintenance of Al-masjid-al-haram (at Makkah) as equal to the worth of those who believe in Allah and the Last Day, and strive hard and fight in the Cause of Allah? They are not equal before Allah. And Allah guides not those people who are the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers).
Chapter 9, Verse 28, Repentance
ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo innama almushrikoona najasun fala yaqraboo almasjida alharama baaada aaamihim hatha wain khiftum aaaylatan fasawfa yughneekumu allahu min fadlihi in shaa inna allaha aaaleemun hakeemun
O you who believe [in Allah's Oneness and in His Messenger (Muhammad ﷺ)]! Verily, the Mushrikun (polytheists, pagans, idolaters, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah, and in the Message of Muhammad ﷺ) are Najasun (impure). So let them not come near Al-masjid-al-haram (at Makkah) after this year, and if you fear poverty, Allah will enrich you if He will, out of His Bounty. Surely, Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise.
Chapter 17, Verse 1, The night journey
subhana allathee asra biaaabdihi laylan mina almasjidi alharami ila almasjidi alaqsa allathee barakna hawlahu linuriyahu min ayatina innahu huwa alssameeaau albaseeru
Glorified (and Exalted) be He (Allah) [above all that (evil) they associate with Him] [Tafsir Qurtubi, Vol. 10, Page 204] Who took His slave (Muhammad ﷺ) for a journey by night from Al-masjid-al-haram (at Makkah) to the farthest mosque (in Jerusalem), the neighborhood whereof We have blessed, in order that We might show him (Muhammad ﷺ) of Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, lessons, signs, etc.). Verily, He is the All-Hearer, the All-Seer.
Chapter 22, Verse 25, The Pilgrimage
inna allatheena kafaroo wayasuddoona aaan sabeeli allahi waalmasjidi alharami allathee jaaaalnahu lilnnasi sawaan alaaakifu feehi waalbadi waman yurid feehi biilhadin bithulmin nuthiqhu min aaathabin aleemin
Verily! Those who disbelieve and hinder (men) from the Path of Allah, and from Al-masjid-al-haram (at Makkah) which We have made (open) to (all) men, the dweller in it and the visitor from the country are equal there [as regards its sanctity and pilgrimage (Hajj and 'Umrah)]. And whoever inclines to evil actions therein or to do wrong (i.e. practise polytheism and leave Islamic Monotheism), him We shall cause to taste a painful torment.
Chapter 48, Verse 27, The victory
laqad sadaqa allahu rasoolahu alrruya bialhaqqi latadkhulunna almasjida alharama in shaa allahu amineena muhalliqeena ruoosakum wamuqassireena la takhafoona faaaalima ma lam taaalamoo fajaaaala min dooni thalika fathan qareeban
Indeed Allah shall fulfil the true vision which He showed to His Messenger (SAW) [i.e. the Prophet ﷺ saw a dream that he has entered Makkah along with his companions, having their (head) hair shaved and cut short] in very truth. Certainly, you shall enter Al-masjid-al-haram; if Allah wills, secure, (some) having your heads shaved, and (some) having your head hair cut short, having no fear. He knew what you knew not, and He granted besides that a near victory.
