  • Chapter 2, Verse 43, The Cow
    سُوۡرَةُ البَقَرَة
    وَأَقِيمُواْ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتُواْ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَٱرۡكَعُواْ مَعَ ٱلرَّٰكِعِينَ
    waaqeemoo alssalata waatoo alzzakata wairkaaaoo maaaa alrrakiaaeena
    And perform As-salat (iqamat-as-salat), and give Zakat, and Irka' (i.e. bow down or submit yourselves with obedience to Allah) along with Ar-Raki'un.
  • Chapter 6, Verse 72, The cattle
    سورة الأنعام
    وَأَنۡ أَقِيمُواْ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَٱتَّقُوهُۚ وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِيٓ إِلَيۡهِ تُحۡشَرُونَ
    waan aqeemoo alssalata waittaqoohu wahuwa allathee ilayhi tuhsharoona
    And to perform As-salat (iqamat-as-salat)", and to be obedient to Allah and fear Him, and it is He to Whom you shall be gathered.
  • Chapter 7, Verse 170, The heights
    سورة الأعراف
    وَٱلَّذِينَ يُمَسِّكُونَ بِٱلۡكِتَٰبِ وَأَقَامُواْ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ إِنَّا لَا نُضِيعُ أَجۡرَ ٱلۡمُصۡلِحِينَ
    waallatheena yumassikoona bialkitabi waaqamoo alssalata inna la nudeeaau ajra almusliheena
    And as to those who hold fast to the Book (i.e. act on its teachings) and perform As-salat (iqamat-as-salat), certainly, We shall never waste the reward of those who do righteous deeds.
  • Chapter 8, Verse 3, Spoils of war, booty
    سورة الأنفال
    ٱلَّذِينَ يُقِيمُونَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَمِمَّا رَزَقۡنَٰهُمۡ يُنفِقُونَ
    allatheena yuqeemoona alssalata wamimma razaqnahum yunfiqoona
    Who perform As-salat (iqamat-as-salat) and spend out of that We have provided them.
  • Chapter 14, Verse 40, Abraham
    سورة إبراهيم
    رَبِّ ٱجۡعَلۡنِي مُقِيمَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِيۚ رَبَّنَا وَتَقَبَّلۡ دُعَآءِ
    rabbi ijaaalnee muqeema alssalati wamin thurriyyatee rabbana wtaqabbal duaaai
    "O my Lord! Make me one who performs As-salat (iqamat-as-salat), and (also) from my offspring, our Lord! And accept my invocation.
  • Chapter 20, Verse 14, Taha
    سورة طه
    إِنَّنِيٓ أَنَا ٱللَّهُ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّآ أَنَا۠ فَٱعۡبُدۡنِي وَأَقِمِ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ لِذِكۡرِيٓ
    innanee ana allahu la ilaha illa ana faoaabudnee waaqimi alssalata lithikree
    "Verily! I am Allah! La ilaha illa Ana (none has the right to be worshipped but I), so worship Me, and perform As-salat (iqamat-as-salat) for My Remembrance.
  • Chapter 24, Verse 56, The Light
    سورة النور
    وَأَقِيمُواْ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتُواْ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَأَطِيعُواْ ٱلرَّسُولَ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تُرۡحَمُونَ
    waaqeemoo alssalata waatoo alzzakata waateeaaoo alrrasoola laaaallakum turhamoona
    And perform As-salat (iqamat-as-salat), and give Zakat and obey the Messenger (Muhammad ﷺ) that you may receive mercy (from Allah).
  • Chapter 27, Verse 3, The Ant
    سورة النمل
    الَّذِينَ يُقِيمُونَ الصَّلَاةَ وَيُؤْتُونَ الزَّكَاةَ وَهُمْ بِالْآخِرَةِ هُمْ يُوقِنُونَ
    allatheena yuqeemoona alssalata wayutoona alzzakata wahum bialakhirati hum yooqinoona
    Those who perform As-salat (iqamat-as-salat) and give Zakat and they believe with certainty in the Hereafter (resurrection, recompense of their good and bad deeds, Paradise and Hell, etc.).
  • Chapter 31, Verse 4, Luqman
    سورة لقمان
    الَّذِينَ يُقِيمُونَ الصَّلَاةَ وَيُؤْتُونَ الزَّكَاةَ وَهُمْ بِالْآخِرَةِ هُمْ يُوقِنُونَ
    allatheena yuqeemoona alssalata wayutoona alzzakata wahum bialakhirati hum yooqinoona
    Those who perform As-salat (iqamat-as- salat) and give Zakat and they have faith in the Hereafter with certainty.
  • Chapter 4, Verse 103, The Women
    سورة النساء
    فَإِذَا قَضَيۡتُمُ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ فَٱذۡكُرُواْ ٱللَّهَ قِيَٰمٗا وَقُعُودٗا وَعَلَىٰ جُنُوبِكُمۡۚ فَإِذَا ٱطۡمَأۡنَنتُمۡ فَأَقِيمُواْ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَۚ إِنَّ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ كَانَتۡ عَلَى ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ كِتَٰبٗا مَّوۡقُوتٗا
    faitha qadaytumu alssalata faothkuroo allaha qiyaman waquaaoodan waaaala junoobikum faitha itmanantum faaqeemoo alssalata inna alssalata kanat aaala almumineena kitaban mawqootan
    When you have finished As-salat (the prayer - congregational), remember Allah standing, sitting down, and lying down on your sides, but when you are free from danger, perform As-salat (iqamat-as- salat). Verily, the prayer is enjoined on the believers at fixed hours.
